Section of a seed (အေစ႔ျဖတ္ပိုင္း) : edible fruit, almost without exception seeds of the Graminae family.

Pericarp and seed coat (အေစ႔ခြြံ ႏွင့္ အေစ့ကာ) : thin membrane that covers and protects the grain.

Endosperm (အေစ႔တြင္းစာ) : tissue providing nutrients to the early stage corn.
