အျမစ္ျဖတ္ပိုင္း

Cross section of a root (အျမစ္ျဖတ္ပိုင္း) : axis of the plant which grows in the opposite direction from the stem, maintain the plant in place and absorbs nutrients.

Piliferous stratum (ျမစ္ေမြးေပါက္ရာဆဲလ္စု) : set of cells on the outer layer that carry the root hairs.

Xylem (အျမစ္သား) : woody parts of the root.

Phloem (ပင္ရည္ေၾကာ) : vessels through which sap circulates.

Pith (အျမစ္ခ်က္တိုင္) : central part of the root.

Phellogen (အျမစ္ေဖာ့သား) : part of the root that produces cork.
